Vision Statement

Victory Elementary School students will work hard to learn at their fullest potential, achieve their goals, and succeed in life. All students will participate in developmentally appropriate comprehensive classroom counseling lessons, and will have access to small group and individual counseling. This will allow them to achieve success academically, personally, and socially. We aim to give students the tools to explore college and career readiness through engaging career exploration. Victory Elementary students will become successful life-long learners, as well as productive and responsible citizens in the community.

Belief Statement

The professional school counselors of Victory Elementary School Counseling Program believe:
All students are individuals and learn at their own pace.
All students can be academically successful and supported to become active members of society.
All students deserve equitable access to a rigorous curriculum to maximize their post-secondary school options.
All students deserve to be members of a school that respects their cultural diversity and celebrates their uniqueness.
All students will have equitable access to a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate school counseling program administered by state certified professional school counselors.
The school counselors will advocate for all students.
The school counselors will use data in collaborative effort to design, implement, assess, and continuously improve the comprehensive school counseling program.
The school counselors will collaborate with families, stakeholders and community resources to assist student development.
The school counselors will abide by ASCA’s school counseling ethics.

Mission Statement

Collaborating with all stakeholders to provide a multicultural, data driven, and  developmentally appropriate comprehensive school counseling program in which all students achieve excellence academically, personally, socially, as contributing members of their community, and ultimately in the career of their choice.
